Product Description: This Tudor Seal Ring is made from lead-free pewter and is based on a seal-ring with the monogram 'W.S.'. The ring size can be changed to make it larger or smaller. The ring is supplied in a clear blister mounted to an information card. The front of the information card has a portrait image of William Shakespeare. On the reverse it provides a brief history of the ring.

Information: A copy of a man’s gold seal-ring with the monogram 'W.S.' entwined with a lovers’ knot. The original ring was found in 1810 near Holy Trinity churchyard, Stratford-upon-Avon. It is tempting to speculate that this ring belonged to Shakespeare but such an attribution cannot be proved, although the ring is certainly of the type that was worn by an Elizabethan gentleman. Curiously, Shakespeare’s will bears no seal, although it originally concluded with ‘In Witness whereof I have hereunto put my Seale’ with the word ‘Seale’ subsequently crossed out and changed to ‘hand’.
