Scottish History Ruler - 30cm

Product Description: The Scottish History Ruler is made from wood and measures 30cm long. On the reverse, it shows measurements in both inches and centimetres. On the inches scale it includes units of 1/8 of an inch and on the centimetre side units of 5 millimetres.

The front of the ruler shows an image of a Scottish thistle and has a timeline listing the kings and queens of Scotland and the dates they took the throne. The timeline starts from c.847 – 1018 and the conquest of Strathclyde, Lothian and the Picts by the rulers of the Scots. All the kings and queens from 1005 are shown right up to Charles III in 2022. Highlights include the kings Malcolm III, David I, William I, Alexander III, Robert the Bruce, James III, James VI and the queens Mary Queen of Scots and Elizabeth.
