Roman Enamelled Fish Brooch

Information: This brooch is an exact replica of a 1st Century Roman fish fibula (clothes fastening) found in East Sussex, UK.

Based on an artefact found in East Sussex, this Zoomorphic Roman brooch is handcrafted and inlaid with fine enamel.

These fish brooches were very popular and were made with a variety of coloured inlays and this one is thought to represent a salmon.
