Product Description: The Medieval History Ruler is plastic and measures 30cm long. It shows measurements in both inches and centimetres. On the inches scale it includes units of 1/16 of an inch and on the centimetre side units of 1 millimetre.

On the front of the ruler are images of two medieval battle scenes, including a castle attack. There is also an image of a shield used as the Royal Arms of England from 1198 to 1340 and a Royal Arms of England and France shield that was used intermittently between 1399 and 1603.

On the reverse of the ruler is a Medieval timeline. The timeline starts with the Normans in 1066 and William I defeating Harold II at the Battle of Hastings and runs through to 1485 when Richard III is killed at the Battle of Bosworth. Highlights include the Domesday Book being completed in 1086, the start of the Civil War between Stephen and Matilda in 1136, Henry II becomes the first Plantagenet King in 1154, 1199 John becomes King and later signs the Magna Carta, Henry VI becomes the first King of the House of Lancaster in 1399 and Edward IV becomes the first king of the House of York in 1461.
