Product Description: This Magna Carta Seal Ring is made from lead-free pewter and has the seal of King John on the top. The ring size can be changed to make it larger or smaller. The ring is supplied in a clear blister mounted to an information card. The front of the information card has an image of the Magna Carta and the seal of King John. On the reverse it provides a brief history of the Magna Carta.

Information: On 15th June 1215, the Magna Carta (Great Charter) was sealed under oath by King John at Runnymede, near Windsor. The Magna Carta was one of the most important documents of medieval England and was an attempt by the barons to stop King John abusing his powers. The document was a series of written promises between the King and his subject, that he, the King, would govern England and deal with its people according to the customs of feudal law.
