Information: Concorde was a ground breaking supersonic passenger airliner jointly developed and manufactured by British and French aerospace companies, entering service in 1976 and retiring in 2003. Renowned for its sleek design and extraordinary speed, Concorde was capable of flying at more than twice the speed of sound, drastically reducing transatlantic flight times. However, its operational costs, noise pollution, and limited capacity ultimately led to its discontinuation.
