Falcon Ring - Gold Plated

Product Description: This Egyptian Falcon Ring is made from lead-free pewter that is 22ct gold-plated. The falcons head and body is on top of the ring and the wings form the shank. The ring size can be changed to make it larger or smaller. The ring is supplied in a clear blister mounted to an information card. The information card depicts an Egyptian funeral scene on the front and describes each of the three different Egyptian rings available in the collection on the reverse.

Information: This ring is inspired from jewellery that took the form of a gold flying falcon believed to have been worn as a pectoral (across the breast). The Egyptian sky god, Horus, took the form of a falcon whose right eye was the sun and whose left eye was the moon.
