Egyptian Anubis

Product Description: This 4cm long Anubis the Dog is made from resin that is painted black with hand painted highlights in gold to the ears and neck piece. It is supplied with a full-colour information card that has an image of an Egyptian funeral scene with an Egyptian Anubis overlayed on top of it. There is also historical information which explains about the Anubis model. The Anubis and folded card are supplied in a clear box.

Information: This stunning miniature is based on the sculpture found in King Tutankhamen’s tomb. Anubis was an Egyptian God associated with the mummification and protection of the dead for their journey into the afterlife. He was usually portrayed as a half human, half jackal.
